From land to landmarks

We are Bharti Real Estate. Our journey began in 2003 with the intention of diversifying into new business sectors with the rapidly expanding Indian economy and the resulting demand for Grade-A commercial real estate. Several projects, including the renowned Worldmark 1.0 in Aerocity, New Delhi, Worldmark Gurugram, Airtel Centre, and Bharti Crescent, have been successfully completed by Bharti Real Estate in the past.

With some of the most prestigious addresses in the country, we have developed into one of the most recognisable and well-respected brands in commercial real estate. We have now taken the route less travelled, moving beyond isolated office buildings and retail centres to construct iconic, integrated ecosystems that usher in a new era in commercial real estate in India.

Managing Director and CEO

S.K. Sayal has been at the forefront of change and evolution in the Indian real estate market for forty years. At the helm of Bharti Real Estate since 2014, he has been steering a scalable business strategy to create value for the enterprise. Sayal has ably led the transformative development of marquee real estate projects by Bharti Real Estate.

A seasoned professional and an industry veteran, Sayal was the Founding Director and CEO of Alpha G:Corp from 2004 to 2014 and the Head of Operations for Mahindra/GESCO from 1993 to 2004. Earlier, he has worked with leading names in real estate like DLF and Ansals.

As a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) UK, Sayal has led the implementation of new benchmarks in residential and commercial development. He has been instrumental in defining and establishing the widely used Real Estate Asset Management (REAM) model in the Indian Real Estate Industry. He is the author of ‘Inside Unreal Estate: a journey through India’s most controversial sector’, one of the most authoritative accounts of the evolution of the Indian real estate market.

Sayal has been honoured with the ‘Emerging India Business Baron Award’ at the Indo-Malaysia Economic Cooperation Seminar, ‘Most Enterprising CEO of the Year’ at the Real Estate Awards, ‘CEO of the Year’ at the World Brand Congress Global Awards for Brand Excellence and more.

Ravinder Arora

Chief Operating Officer

Ravinder Arora has over 40 years of professional experience in finance and project management. His expertise lies in real estate operations, risk management, accounting, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions as well as financial planning.

As a seasoned veteran, his experience is not just limited to the real estate sector but also extends to telecom, food and agriculture, software, synthetic yarns and fibres, cement, engineering, healthcare and electronics manufacturing and distribution.

Arora has been with the Bharti Group for more than 25 years and has held senior roles at various businesses of the Group. As the Chief Operating Officer of Bharti Real Estate, he manages critical business processes such as mergers and acquisitions, leasing, operations and financial controls. A strategic planner, Arora leads special projects like digitization and innovation, ESG and internal process controls to fulfil corporate business objectives on the road to the future.

Amit Thakral

Head – Business Strategy

Amit Thakral is an architect with over 20 years of multi-faceted real estate experience, like design development and management, strategic project planning, techno commercial liaison, land procurement and business strategy. He has been on the Bharti Real Estate team since October 2014, before which he was a part of various distinguished real estate companies in North India.

Apurv Kumar

Head – Finance and IT

Apurv Kumar is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years of experience. His expertise lies in accounting, operation, statutory compliances, taxation, restructuring, M&A treasury, risk management, internal audit and managing Initial Public Offers (IPO). After working with prestigious organizations like Indiabulls Power, Bharti Teletech and JC Bhalla, Kumar joined Bharti Real Estate since June 2010.

Cherryn Dogra

Chief Marketing Officer

Cherryn Dogra has been in Marketing for over 18 years. Before joining the Real Estate industry, Dogra has spearheaded Marketing at globally renowned multinational beverage companies like Pernod Ricard and William Grant. Dogra started her career in Real Estate with Lodha, and went on to head the marketing department of leading developers like DLF and Emaar. Her expertise lies in solving business challenges through the strategic application of new-age marketing programs. An alumnus of Amity Business School and IIM Kolkata, Cherryn Dogra pursues research as a Ph.D. scholar on ‘strategy in the field of corporate governance’.

Kamal Chinda

Head – Regulatory Affairs

Having worked in the real estate and retail industries in the National Capital Region (NCR), Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh for about 20 years, Kamal has a wide range of experience. He is an authority on the most intricate set of statutory and regulatory issues pertaining to the real estate sector, including land due diligence, approvals, compliances, and regulations.

In addition to being the organization’s outstanding leader with deep subject-matter knowledge, he is responsible for upholding corporate governance. He firmly believes in giving people the freedom to take the lead, and by implementing the regulatory framework into organisational procedures, he upskills and reduces waste for the entire organisation.

Madhvi Goyal

Head – Human Resources

Madhvi Goyal is an expert in empowering an organization with the right talent and a nurturing work environment. Her exclusive skills are in the areas of setting up and scaling up of organizations and capabilities, culture building and talent development while staying focused on process and performance excellence. Her 20 years of experience in Management Consulting and Corporate HR spans across industries including Technology Services, Telecom, Infrastructure, Hospitality and Real estate. She is also a certified Executive Coach through ODA, accredited by ICF.

Mark Menon

Head – Office Leasing

Mark Menon has been associated with the real estate business for over 23 years, in various sectors such as hospitality, industrial and commercial. During his association with global conglomerates like Oberoi Hotels, JLL, Wyndham Hotel Group, Indospace (Everstone Capital) and DLF, he has accomplished some remarkable real estate transactions, thanks to a customer-centric and solution-oriented approach. Menon is a staunch advocate of evolving technology and has been utilizing its transformative advantages at work.

Neeraj Aggarwal

Head – Supply Chain Management

Neeraj Aggarwal has been a part of the core team that ensures seamless operations at Bharti Real Estate for more than 13 years. A postgraduate in International business from IIFT(Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) and a postgraduate in construction management from Delhi Productivity Council, he has 33 years of techno-commercial expertise in the construction and real estate industry. Aggarwal has worked with Emaar MGF & Mahindra Lifespace Developers in many leadership roles.

Rajesh Kumar

Chief – Projects

Rajesh Kumar is an established professional in the construction and real estate sectors with over 30 years of experience. He has led the development of several significant projects in the commercial, retail, mixed-use and residential sectors. A civil engineering graduate from Bangalore University with postgraduation in business management from IMI Delhi, Rajesh Kumar has served prestigious companies like HCL and DLF in diverse leadership roles.

Shruti Batish

Head – Legal

Shruti Batish is equipped with remarkable domain knowledge that comes from her versatile legal experience in manufacturing, operations, real estate, IPR and human resources. With exceptional skills in contract drafting, negotiation, litigation, dispute resolution and more, Batish has led many momentous and sensitive transactions in Mergers and Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, private equity transactions, collaboration agreements, sale and lease deeds, etc. An LLB alumnus of Delhi University, Batish has a Masters in Business Law from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Before joining Bharti, she worked with DMD Advocates of Delhi and Max Ventures and Industries Limited.
